Operational Roles And Responsibilities: · The Inspection Engineer has the primary responsibility to acquire, process, and report inspection data and to ensure that the highest standards are applied at all times together with the application of full quality control. · This approach will be adopted with regard to activities including online eventing, video review, data checking and reporting. The Inspection Engineer is responsible to ensure that all of the necessary operational objectives are fulfilled in compliance with technical specifications together with both standard and project-specific procedures. · The Inspection Engineer may be tasked with the following roles within the Inspection team.
Online Inspection Data Recorder (ROV Pipeline and ROV/Diving Structural Inspection) Offline Inspection Data Review, Quality Control and Reporting Onshore preparation, administration and reporting of Inspection data
The Key Operational Requirements Of These Roles Are Listed Below. · Close attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work · Capable of identifying problems and offering solutions in a logical manner · Capable of working as part of a team but willingness to lead when required · Forward thinking and ambitious · Willingness to travel globally · Prepared to work at sea on a variety of support vessels · Desire to become involved in Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and Diving projects · Controlling Digital data · Online Inspection data recording, quality control of real-time video data and ensuring that, where required, all data sheets are completed accurately. · Offline video review and data editing and undertaking all necessary validation checks on the data. · Where necessary, compile and check data from other sources such as Cathodic Protection (CP) and Flooded Member Detection (FMD) and assist with eventing, processing and reporting of these data sets · Any other duties as directed by the Inspection Project Co-ordinator or Senior Inspection Engineer as applicable. · Assist with and supervise mobilization/demobilization activities
Qualifications and Education: Essential : Hold a 3.4.u qualification · In a relevant engineering or science subject, HNC or above or · Hold a qualification in a IT based subject at HNC or above
Desired : Hold a qualification in a relevant engineering or science subject, HNC or above or · Hold a qualification in an IT based subject at HNC or above or · Hold a 3.3.u, 3.2.u, 3.1.u or other relevant CSWIP certification.

Experience Offshore experience in supporting any or all of the following:
· air or saturation DSV work · ROV structural inspection · ROV pipeline surveys · Data processing for pipeline surveys · Cathodic Protection survey experience · Flooded Member Detection experience
