Our International Recruiting division has a requirement for a suitably qualified, experienced and highly professional individual that possesses the comprehensive skills set and experience listed below.
This position is assigned onshore on a full time basis and is based in China.
Minimum Education & Skills
At least 15-20 years sales/marketing experience in the offshore construction industry, including: shipbuilding, submersible rigs and jack-up rigs, FPSO and other marine constructive vessel new builds.
Particular/Preferred Experience
Good knowledge and well networked in offshore construction market, specifically offshore drilling rig market, in close contact with international drilling contractors and oil & gas operators.
Extensive knowledge and experience in offshore construction industry including previous shipbuilding, semi & jack-up rig construction, FPSO and other marine vessel construction specifically all new builds.
Highly polished individual possessing outstanding English language skills, professional business approach in offshore marketing as well as commercial and contractual operations.
Preferred 10 years or more working experience specifically in the offshore construction industry in a Senior Marketing or
Management position with a suitably recognized company.
Any ability to communicate in Mandarin would be highly advantageous but not mandatory.
Scope of Work/Job Duties
Responsible for the planning and management of overseas offshore construction marketing.
Assist the management team to establish annual business development plans and targets and be responsible for the execution thereof.
Gather and maintain information on the offshore drilling rig market and ensure information is accurate.
Supervise/monitor the development of offshore construction markets and competitors.
Provide suggestions and guidance, based on prior experience, to management team in order for sound business decisions to be reached.
Maintain current client base in offshore construction industry and strengthen relationships.
Research, identify and qualify appropriate new opportunities in international markets.
Be responsible for other ad hoc and day to day activities within department.
Responsible for creating an effective operation management system.
